Facebook pixel is a simple code that tracks the activities of visitors. It is one of the most important elements of Facebook advertising. Step 1
Login to your Facebook Business Manager and navigate to Events Manager Tab. There you will find a data source option. Click on add new data source button and select Facebook pixel and proceed.

Give a name to your Pixel for recognition and type your website URL (optional) & click on continue.

There are three methods for installing pixel code on your website. Hee select “Add code using a Partner Integration” and click on continue.

Once you are on this window scroll down and choose WordPress as partner and continue.

You will find a step by step guide by Facebook to install the pixel. Select the advanced matching option and click on continue.

Click on the download button for pixel zip file. Once downloaded, note the root and continue.

Go to your WordPress Website Dashboard. Scroll down and click on plugin and select “add new” to continue.

Click on Upload plugin and then select the choose file option to upload pixel downloaded zip file. Once upload is completed click on “Install Now” and continue.

After installing the plugin click on the “Activate Plugin” button to continue.

Go to settings; there you will see Facebook Pixel. Click on it and review the settings. If everything seems normal click on “Save Changes” and continue.

Type your website URL and click on the “Send Test Traffic” button. Your website will be opened in a new browser for test activity. Hold for a few seconds to get the status.


Step 12
After the analysis you will see an “Active” option on your screen. It means that you have successfully placed the Facebook Pixel on your website.


You can always check your Facebook Functionality by navigating to the Events manager section from Facebook Business Manager account. Just go to the test events area to ensure pixel working. There is another method of installing “Facebook Pixel Helper” browser plugin to keep a check on your Website Pixel.
